The construction documentation phase is completed in anticipation of bidding the project to a contractor and beginning construction. It includes the creation of a construction documentation set including construction plans, staging plans, erosion control and site safety plans, the creation of detailed specifications, water control plans and other construction specific tasks.
S2o believes that the final step in the project is one of the most important. It is important to be on-site during construction in order to ensure that these projects are built to our exacting specifications. S2o representatives work with the contractor in order to establish an efficient construction plan and then to ensure that the key elements are put into place accurately and attractively. Our engineers, if necessary, help to train the contractor at rock placement in the river, environmentally responsible grouting, and the creation of planting pockets and fish habitat elements of the project.
