Expert Witness

S2O is often called upon to testify as expert witnesses in issues related to the design and use of whitewater parks.  Scott has testified to the uses, design, functionality, safety, and expected performance of whitewater parks in trials in Colorado related to Recreational In-Channel Diversions.  Scott Shipley has been qualified as an expert witnesses in these areas, in court, and is currently working with other communities to prepare for trial in ongoing water and water rights cases.

Will Peterman has also consulted in a number of cases involving business planning and modeling. Will's educational background and experience in this field make him a uniquely qualified consultant. Will's ability to create a concise, informative, and comprehensive business model for a variety of differing business/operational models provides exactly the sort of information that helps clarify economic and accounting issues that permeate some court cases.
